Metal Fabrication
The fabrication shop is located at Precision Steel Works headquarters in Rocky Mount, NC. The 25,000 square foot shop is a multi-purpose facility, efficiently producing standard HVAC galvanized, stainless steel and aluminum duct components, as well as specialized ductwork, adapters, and other components for out-of-the-ordinary applications.
This fully equipped metal working shop also has production equipment that facilitates fabrication of many different components for mechanical installations, including customized equipment stands, brackets, handrails, stairways, channels, and a host of other special structures to complete an installation. Precision Steel Works considers the fabrication shop to be a critical component of its operation. It serves not only as a production facility, but as a “laboratory” where engineers and technicians can quickly and effectively solve any problems that may develop during an installation. It also opens the door for their personnel to make inventive changes and put the finishing touches on each and every project.
In addition to providing innovative opportunities and cost savings on in-house production of HVAC components, the fabrication shop is also utilized for contract manufacture of custom products. These products are manufactured for the pharmaceutical, agricultural, storage and the heating and cooling equipment industries.
The shop also houses specialized equipment for building the PSW line of ATM enclosures and kiosks for the banking industry, as well as a custom designed, state-of-the-art painting facility. The high tech paint booth offers more efficient painting capabilities which assure top quality finish and durability on any project.
